Why Mary should say sorry, to all the Indians , she has done her job and won a bronze medal for our country. She said ' My whole country was hoping to win a gold medal , and I am sorry I have not come back with that ' after she lost the semi-final bout with Great Britain's Nicola Adams , at London Olympics 2012.
She has won a medal first ever, for India , in the women's boxing event .
Mary comes from a very simple background in Manipur . She is from a
tribe called Kom . Now with the Magnificent Mary's feat , has put the
proud tribe of only 20000 in population into limelight. Mary is a proud mother , with a heart of steel , which she showed, while training in Patiala for the Games last year. Her three and half year old son Khupnelvar had to go for surgery for heart problem, but even than Mary was calm and composed during the training. We salute you Mary for making us proud.
