India scored 159 runs in 45.4 overs,than South Africa were strulling at 17 runs for 3 wickets before rains struck the Kinrara Oval ground for two hours. They were set a new target to chase 116 runs in 25 overs,that is had to make 99 runs in 98 deliveries with 7 wickets in hand.
The Proteas never raised any hopes for the win and lost wickets at regular intervals, were bowled out for 103 runs.
